Call to Order. 2. Possible Action and discussion on absence requests. 3. Initial Hear Visitors. Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be issued. 4. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding welcoming newly appointed Historic Preservation Committee members. 5. Possible action and discussion to approve meeting minutes of regular meeting of September 12, 2006. 6. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding accepting the resignation of Dipankar Sen from the Historic Preservation Committee Meeting. 7. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding scheduling and planning a committee retreat. 8 Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the Exploring History Lunch Lecture 2007 program. 9. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding heritage neighborhoods. 10. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the committee practices and procedures. Project Updates: 11. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the Veterans Park American Mile project. 12. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding Project HOLD. 13. Calendar of pertinent past and upcoming community events pertaining to historical interests. Possible action and discussion on future agenda items – A Historic Preservation Member may inquire about a subject for which notice has not been given. A statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting. 16. Adjourn.
