1. Call to Order.
2. Possible Action and discussion on absence requests.
3. Initial Hear Visitors.
Visitors after stating name and address for the record may address the Historic
Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed
under the appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or
assigned to staff for research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the
recitation of existing policy may be issued.
4.Possible action and discussion to approve meeting minutes of regular meeting of August
7, 2006.
5. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding accepting the resignation of Tom Taylor
from the Historic Preservation Committee Meeting.
6. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the Exploring History Lunch Lecture
program.
7. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding tour of historic neighborhoods for City
Council held on August 24, 2006.
8. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the committee practices and procedures.
9. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the offer of Committee Member
Dipankar Sen to show his 1970’s movie, “Life in Aggieland” filmed on super 8 film.

10. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding the Veterans Park American Mile
project.
11. Report, possible action, and discussion regarding Project HOLD.
12. Calendar of pertinent past and upcoming community events pertaining to historical
interests.

factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be given. Any deliberation
shall be limited to a proposal to place the subject on an agenda for a subsequent meeting.
