Call to Order. 2. Consideration, discussion and possible action on absence requests. 3. Initial Hear Visitors. Visitors are asked to announce their name and address for the record. Visitors may address the Historic Preservation Committee for three (3) minutes. Topics for deliberation shall be discussed under the appropriate agenda item, placed on the agenda of a subsequent meeting, or assigned to staff for research. However, a statement of specific factual information or the recitation of existing policy may be issued. 4. Consideration, discussion and possible action to approve meeting minutes of February 7, 2005. 5. Consideration, discussion and possible action to accept the resignation of R. Matthew Lee and review of resignation letter of Intern Elisabeth Spring. 6. Committee and staff report of pertinent past and upcoming community events pertaining to historical interests. : Past: February 16 College Station Exploring History Lunch Lecture : Present: March 30 College Station Exploring History Lunch Lecture April 14-16: Texas Historical Commission Annual Historic Preservation Conference. April 21: May Heritage Month Proclamation at City Council meeting at 7 p.m. May 6: Heritage Month Kick-off Open House at Benjamin Knox Gallery, 4:00 p.m. May 7: TAMU Historic Building Tour, 8:30 a.m. May 21: Carnegie Center for Brazos Valley History, 8:30 a.m. 7. Report, consideration and possible action regarding assigning standard sub-committee meeting days. 8. Report, consdideration, discussion and possible action regarding the request from Planning and Development Services Department to resurvey the previously surveyed historic properties in Northgate. Project Updates: 9. Report, consideration and possible action regarding Project HOLD. 10. Report, consideration and possible action regarding the Exploring History Lunch Lecture Series. 11. Report, consideration and possible action regarding the Historic Marker program. 12. Report, consideration and possible action regarding the May Heritage Month events. 13. Report, consideration and possible action regarding marketing HPC initiatives. 14. Final Hear Visitors – Visitors are asked to announce their name for the record.
