Call meeting to order. 2. Executive Session will be held in the Administrative Conference Room. Consultation with Attorney {Gov’t Code Section 551.071}; possible action. The City Council may seek advice from its attorney regarding a pending or contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information. Litigation is an ongoing process and questions may arise as to a litigation tactic or settlement offer, which needs to be discussed with the City Council. Upon occasion the City Council may need information from its attorney as to the status of a pending or contemplated litigation subject or settlement offer or attorney-client privileged information. Background &Summary:On August 14,2014 the City Council adopted Resolution No.08-14-14-2e, creating a 2015 Bond Citizen Advisory Committee.The committee was given the following charge:"to assess the City of College Station's current and future transportation,parks,and facility needs in order to present a prioritized list of projects to the College Station City Council to be considered on a proposed 2015 Bond Election,and to ensure that any 2015 Bond timeline and/or schedule shall not exceed five (5) year." Per the resolution,the Citizen Advisory Committee was composed of a Transportation subcommittee,a Parks subcommittee,and a Facilities subcommittee.Each subcommittee had 7 members,with two additional members serving as the chairs of the group as a whole.College Station citizens were encouraged to apply to serve on the committee by filling out the "Capital Improvement Program 2015 Bond Citizen Advisory Committee Application."Applications for the committee were accepted from early September to late November.On December 18,2014,the Council appointed the members to the Citizen Advisory Committee. The Citizen Advisory Committee kick-off meeting was held on January 20,2015,and the committee has continued meeting regularly since then to work toward creating a prioritized list of projects for the City Council to consider for a potential 2015 Bond Election.In addition to frequent meetings with city staff,the committee actively engaged the public through three public forums,as well as numerous online recommendations via the committee email.
