Welcome and Call to Order -Pledge of allegiance to the United States and Texas Flags and Invocation by Judge Peters 2. Public Comments regarding items not on the agenda -Individuals who wish to address the Policy Board must fill out a Public Comment Card describing the topic(s) they wish to address. Public Comment Cards may be obtained from Lisa Lyon of the MPO staff prior to the start of the meeting. Please limit your comments to three minutes per topic. Additional time will be allotted if Policy Board members have questions. 3. Review and approval of August 3rd, 2016 Policy Board Minutes -The Policy Board will review and make corrections to the minutes and then either approve the minutes or move to instruct staff to correct the minutes and return them to the Policy Board for approval at their next meeting. Action required. (See attachment.) 4. Director's Report -Brazos Transit District Operations Study -FM2818 Corridor Study -Website Update -Progress Report on Top Five Unfunded Regional Priority Project -Update on Fort Worth to Houston Corridor Expressway Concept 5. Affirmation of FY 2017 and FY2018 Category Two Funding Projects The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) is still working out the details of determining all regional projects that will be selected for construction using Category Two funds. In the interim, the TAC recommended that the Policy Board approve three projects for FY 2017 and FY 2018 so that TxDOT can proceed. TxDOT has also recommended that any amendments to the Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) be held until the full slate of Category Two projects is agreed upon by the TAC. Action required. (See attachment.) 6. FM 60 (University Drive) Corridor Study Project Scope -The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) has been working on a work scope for the FM 60 Corridor Study. Since the scope is a major departure from the type of work scope we have used on other corridor studies, the TAC and staff believes Policy Board action is required. Typically, such studies include a vehicular movement emphasis to improve traffic flow. Instead the TAC believes that the selected consultant will need to prepare graphic concepts and alternatives that improve bicycle and pedestrian movement on FM 60 for consideration, including looking at grade separations. In addition all data needs will be fulfilled by MPO staff with assistance from local jurisdictions who have already collected much of the necessary data. Action Required. (See attachment.) 7. Future Transportation Project Update Alan Munger, County Engineer for Brazos County, will be presenting an update on current construction and ongoing planning efforts in the County (Precinct by Precinct view). Either TxDOT or Texas A&M will present at the next Policy Board meeting. 8.
