Policy Board Meeting
Wednesday May 4, 2016 — 9:00 a.m.

AGENDA
1. Welcome and Call to Order
-Opening prayer and pledge to the United States and Texas Flags
2. Public Comments regarding items not on the agenda
-Individuals who wish to address the Policy Board must fill out a Public Comment Card
describing the topic(s) they wish to address. Public Comment Cards may be obtained from Lisa
Lyon of the MPO staff prior to the start of the meeting. Please limit your comments to three
minutes per topic. Additional time will be allotted if Policy Board members have questions.
3. Review and approval of April 6, 2016 Policy Board Minutes
-The Policy Board will review and make corrections to the minutes and then either approve the
minutes or move to instruct staff to correct the minutes and return them to the Policy Board for
approval at their next meeting. Action required. (See attachment.)
4. Director's Report
-FM 2818 Corridor Study RFQ Update
-Brazos Transit District Demographics and Operations Study Update
5. Draft FY 2015-2018 Tip Amendment III
-The public comment period has closed and the Technical Committee has recommended that the
amendment be adopted. This amendment consists of adding a project to FY 2016 that converts
the FM 2818 @ FM 60 interchange into a Diverging Diamond Interchange. In addition, the
Highway Funding Summary is updated accordingly. Action required. Consider adoption of TIP
Amendment III. (See attachment.)
6. Draft FY 2016-2017 UPWP Amendment II
-The public comment period has closed and the Technical Committee has recommended that the
amendment be adopted The UPWP amendment consists of four parts. Part One adds language
to allow for reimbursement of employment interview and employee relocation expenses. Part
Two reallocates funds for additional traffic count data collection and moves contingency funds
into the UPWP to cover out-of-state relocation expenses. Part Three creates a new UPWP task
to collect additional traffic data and reallocates contingency funds to this new task. Part four

revises the budget summary tables to reflect these actions. Action required. Consider adoption
of UPWP Amendment IL (See attachment.)

-Regional Thoroughfare Plan
-Draft 2017-2020 Transportation Improvement Program
