AN ORDINANCE PRESCRIBING THE DUTY OF ALL PEDESTITIANS AND OPERATORS OF VEHICLES
ABEN FIRE ALARMS OR SIRENS OF FIRE TRUCKS, AMBULANCES AND POLICE CARS HAVE
SOUNDED, AND PRESCRIBING A PENALTY.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of "olleg.e Station, Texas:
1. uNhen a fire alarm has been sounded, any person operating a vehicle upon
the streets shall immediately bring such 't,enicle to the ri tht hand side
of the street, and proceed slowly; or if walking upon the streets shall
immediately proceed to the sidewalk.
2. Upon hearing the warning of the approach of a fire truck, ambulance or
police car, any person who is walking upon a street shall immediately
proceed to the sidewalk, and any p';rson who is operating any vehicle of
transportation shall immediately drive same to the ritiht hand curb and park
until such fire truck, ambulance, or police car has passed.
3. The fire marshall is hereby authorized to establish fire lines during any
fire, and exclude all persons other than those authorized to assist in ex-
tinguishing the fire or the owners or oecupants of the burning property from
within such lines.
4. No person except as provided in Section 3 above shall cross a fire line
established by the fire marshall.
5. Violation of each section of this ordinance shall constitute a separate
offense and be punishable by a fine of not less than five (5) dollars
nor more than fifty ( p50) dollars,

of the street, and proceed slowly; or if walking upon the streets shall
