AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING MAYOR AND CITY SECRETARY TO
BORROW MONEY.
Be it ordained by the City Council of the City of Col-
lege Station, Texas.:
Authority is hereby given the Mayor J. H. Binney and
the City Secretary Sidney L. Loveless to borrow on behalf
and in the name of the City periodically prior to December 31,
1939 on promissory notes from any commercial bank or other
agency upon the basis of sealed bids a total amount not to
exceed one thousand dollars, said borrowed funds to be used
for current operating purposes.
Passed and approved this the 18th day of May, 1939 A. D.
