8 AND A REALLOCATION CF SAID UNNAMED STREET; VACATING PORTIONS C&'
JOE CRR AND ERNEST LANGFCRD STREETS ADJACENT TO SAID UNNAMED STREET
IN EXCESS OF 50 FEET IN WIDTH MEASURED FROM SOUTH SIDE OF SAID STREETS;
EXCHANGING AFORESAID VACATED STREETS AND PART OF STREETS FOR LAND FCR
A NEW STREET; LOCATING A NEW STREET; AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR T 0 EXE-
CUTE A DEED MAKING SAID EXCHANGE EFFECTIVE.
BE 1'.I' ORDAINED by the City Council of College Station, Texas:
The following action is taken with respect to the Knoll, a sub-
division, as shown on the official city map and as platted and record-
ed in the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas in Volo 132, on Page
493.
1. The unnamed street lying between Lots 7 and 8, Block 11, and
Lot 1 of Block 8, and the relocation of said unnamed street as provided
in an instrument executed by F. B. Clark, Trustee, Kaskaskia Properties
and recorded in Vol. 159, Page 474 of the Deed Records of Brazos County,
Texas, are and each of them is hereby vacated and closed.
2. Joe Orr Street and Ernest Langford Street in front of said
Lots 7 and 8, Block 11 and Lot 1) Block 8 are and each of them is here-
by reduced in width to 50 feet as measured northward from the front
lines of Lots 5 and 6 of Block 9. The portions of aforesaid streets
in excess of said 50 foot width are hereby vacated and closed.
3. A new street is hereby created, embracing the 12 foot alley
between Lots 5 and 6 of Block 11, and a 48 foot strip of the south por-
tion of said Lot 6, said 48 foot strip extending the entire depth of
said Lot 6 and being contiguous to said alley, thus providing a 60 foot
street.
4. The Mayor is authorized and directed to execute a deed ex-
changing land in abandoned street and portions of streets as herein-
before described in paragraphs 1 and 2 above with Kaskaskia Properties,
F. B. Clark, Trustee, for the portion of Lot 6, Block 11 to be used as
a new street, as described in paragraph 3 above hereof.
