OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, ADJACENT TO A PORTION OF FAIRVIEW AVENUE, TO THE OAliWOOD REALTY COMPANY OF COLIEGE STATION, TEXAS_, IN ORDER TO VEST TT'TIE IN THE PERSONS PRESENTLY CLAIMING SUCH ABANDONED PROPERTY. WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 194, duly enacted and approved, the 13th day of September, 1954.the City of College Station did acknowledge that it had never accepted a dedication of certain property adjoining Fairview Avenue and did by said ordinance abandon, as a portion of a street, all of such property; and WHEREAS, the title of the individual property owners now claiming subject property is clouded by the apparent dedication mentioned in said Ordinance No. 194; and WHEREAS', the City of College Station is desirous of renouncing all. claim, right, title, and interest to such property in favor of the present property owners and claimants; and WHEREAS, all of the present property owners and claimants derive their title from the Oakwood Realty Company of College Station, Texas so that one individual conveyance by the City of College Station to the Oakwood Realty Company of College Station, Texas, will automatically vest title in all of the present owners and claimants. Now therefore BE IT ORDAINED by the City of College Station, Texas, that the Mayor be, and hereby is, empowered, authorized, and directed to execute a d' deed without warranties to the Oakwood Realty Company of College Station, Texas, to the following described property: All that certain tract or parcel of land, lying and being adjacent to northeast line of Lots One (1) and Six (6) in Block Thirteen (13) in College Park, an addition to the City of College Station, according to plat of said addition recorded in Vol 3$ page 604, 00477 Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and lying and being adjacent to a projection of the southwest line of Fairview Avenue as said Fairview Avenue is projected in a straight line from Lot Seven (7) Block (9) to Lot Seven (7) Block Thirteen (13) of College Park according to said plat and also that portion of land lying and being adjacent to the southwest side of Lots One (1) and Five (5) of Block Fourteen (14) of said addition and being adjacent to a projection of the Northeast line of Fairview Avenue as said avenue is projected • in a straight line from Lot Five (5) in Block Ten (10) to Lot Eleven (11) in Block Fourteen (14) of said addition. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. Passed and approved this 19th day of October, 1954. APPROVED: Mayor ATTEST: City Secretary ®0478
