AN ORDINANCE PROPOSING TO REZONE CERTAIN AREAS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS,
FIXING TINE OF PUBLICATION AND PUBLIC HEARING.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS:
Section 1. Beginning at a stake in the south corner of K. Pistson
property as recorded in Volume 83, page 149 of Brazos County Deed Records,
this being in the northeast line of Highway No. 6; thence in a southeasterly
direction along the northwest property line of Highway N . 6 a distance of
one hundred (100) feet to a corner stake; thence in a northeasterly direction
and parallel to the southeastern line of the said K. Pierson track a
distance of 417 feet to a corner stake; thence in a northwesterly direction
and parallel to State Highway No. 6 a distance of one hundred (100) feet
to a corner stake; thence in s southwesterly direction and parallel to the
southeastern line of K., Pierson tract a distance of 417 feet to the point
of beginning, be rezoned to District No. 5, Second Business District.
Section 2. That a public hearing shall be held in the City Office
at 7:30 p. m. August 4, 1949.
Section 3. That publication of this proposal be published ten (10)
days in the Battalion and proper notice be posted in the area concerned,
shall constitute due notice of the proposal.
