AN ORDINANCE rROVIDINCT FOR PUBLICATION OF ORDINANCES WITH
PENALTIES BY TITLE AND SUMMARY IN LIEU OF PTJBLICATION IN FULL.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas:
1. When an ordinance imposing any penalty, fine or forfeiture
has been passed, unless such ordinance provides for publication in
full, a descriptive caption or title stating in summary the purpose
of the ordinance and the penalty for violation thereof, shall be
published in every issue of the official city newspaper for ten (10)
days. Aforesaid method of publication shall be in lieu of publication
of the ordinance in full.
