AN ORDINANCE RECEIVING CERTAIN TERRITORY ADTOININ' THE LIMITS
OF THE CITY INTO AND INCORPORATING THE SAME AS A FART OF THE CITY
OF COLT,1 CE STATION, TEXAS.
1. Inasmuch as the majority of the qualified voters residing
in a certain territory adjoining the limits of the City have voted
in favor of becoming a part of the City and inasmuch further as three
of them have submitted an affidavit to that fact, now be it ordained
by the City Council of the City of College Station that said certain
territory shall be and the same is hereby received into and
incorporated as a pert of the City of College Station, Texas, said
certain territory being more particularly described as follows, towit:
Beginning et the most easterly corner of College Hills Estates.
This corner also being the most easterly point on the boundary of Lot
12, Block 17 of said Addition; thence N 45° E along an old fence line
a distance of 2654.4 ft. to the most easterly corner of Lot 16, Wood-
land Estates;
Thence
of 262.7 ft.
Thence
of 845.7 ft.
N 45° W along the northeast side of said Lot 16 a distance
to the most northerly corner of said Lot 16;
S 45° W along the northwest side of Lot 16, a distance
to a point for corner;
Thence in a.no.rthwesterly direction and parallel to Munson
Avenue a distance of approximately 1700.3 ft. to a point in the
southeast side of Lot 7, Woodland Estates; (This point also being
located N 45° E 310 ft. from the most southerly corner of Lot 7,
Woodland Estates);
Thence S 45° W along the southeast side of said Lot 7 a distance
of 310 ft. to the most southerly corner of said Lot 7;
Thence N 45° W along the northeast right-of-way line of Munson
Avenue a distance of 606.3 ft. to the most southerly corner of Lot 4,
Woodland Estates;
Thence S 45° W a distance of approximately 1550 ft. to the most
southerly corner of Lot 4, Woodland Acres;
Thence S 45° E along the northeast boundary or College Hills
Estates to the point of beginning.
2. The fact that the inhabitants of aforesaid described territory
are without benefits of municipal government creates an emergency and
an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and the rule requiring that
anordinance shall be read at two successive meetings before passage is
hereby suspended, and_ this ordinance shall be in full force and effect
immediately from and after it has been passed and approved.
