ORDINANCE NO. 392
.AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 210, SAID ORDINANCE KNOWN AS THE SUB-
DIVISION DEVELOPMENT ORDINANCE, PRESCRIBING THEREIN A CHANGE IN SECTION 15-b
OF ORDINANCE NO. 210, AND PROVIDING FOR THE PLACING OF SIX (6) INCH COMPACT
DEPTH LIMESTONE BASE ON ALL NEW STREETS IN ALL NEW SUBDIVISIONS TO THE CITY
OF COLTFGE STATION, TEXAS, AND REPEALING THAT PORTION OF ORDINANCE NO. 210
CALLING FOR THE PLACING OF A SIX (6) INCH COMPACT DEPTH GRAVEL BASE.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council that the
present requirements in Ordinance No. 210 for paving streets in new sub-
divisions is not in the best interest of the City of College Station; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the City Engineer that all new
streets in new subdivisions be developed by placing of six (6) inch compact
depth limestone base as approved by the City Engineer before said subdivision
is approved by the City;
IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED AND ORDAINED that the specifications of the
City of College Station, Texas, require that developers apply a six (6) inch
compact depth limestone base on all new streets in new additions.
Any ordinance or portion thereof in conflict herewith is hereby repealed,
and the provisions of this ordinance, in case of conflict, shall govern.
Passed and approved this the 23rd day of March, 1964.
