ORDINANCE NO. 371
AN ORDINANCE TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND 427' X 181' IN THE GORZYCKI ADDITION
WHICH IS BOUNDED ON THE NORTHWEST AND SOUTHWEST SIDES BY A. & M. COLLEGE
PROPERTY AND ON THE NORTHEAST SIDE BY MEADOWLAND STREET FROM DISTRICT NO. 2,
SECOND DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT TO DISTRICT NO. 3, APARTMENT HOUSE DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 p.m. May 27, 1963 on the question of rezoning areas within the
city limits;
AND, WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining there-
to and having the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission
has determined the following:
To rezone or change the classification of a tract of land beginning at
the west corner, said corner abutting property owned by A. & M. College, thence
southeast along said A. & M. College property a distance of 427 feet, thence
northeast a distance of 181 feet to a center line of Meadowland Street, thence
northwest a distance of 427 feet; thence southwest a distance of 181 feet along
A. & M. College property to point of beginning, and it is so ordained that said
changes be effective immediately.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 27th day of May, 1963.
