ORDINANCE NO. 332
AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR A PUBLIC HEARING ON THE QUESTION OF ZONING THE
FOLLOWING DESCRIBED AREA TO "DISTRICT NO. 1, FIRST DWELLING HOUSE DISTRICT":
BEGINNING at a point in the Northeast line of Glade Street which is also a
point at a corner of the existing City limit line.
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction 552 ft. along the present City limit
line and along the Northeast line of Glade Street and to the East corner of
this Right -of -Way.

THENCE Southwest a distance of 50 ft. more or less to a corner in the North-
east line of the "Knoll" Subdivision.

THENCE Southeast 693 ft. to the East corner of the "Knoll" and continue

THENCE Northeast 6361 ft. across the W. D. Fitch tract to a point in the

THENCE Northwest along the boundary of the Dobrovolny tract and the Fitch
tract a distance of 1778 ft. to the point at which the present City limit
Oline meets this boundary, to a corner.

THENCE Southwest along the present City limit line 615 ft. more or less to
the Place of Beginning.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Planning and Zoning Commission, after consideration,
has recommended the zoning as "District No. 1, First Dwelling House District"
all that certain area of land, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the Northeast line of Glade Street which is also a
point at a corner of the existing City limit line.
THENCE in a Southeasterly direction 552 ft. along the present City limit line
and along the Northeast line of Glade Street and to the East corner of this
Right -of -Way.
THENCE Southwest a distance of 50 ft. more or less to a corner in the North-
east line of the "Knoll" Subdivision.
THENCE Southeast 693 ft. to the East corner of the "Knoll" and continue
Southeast along the Northeast line of "South Knoll" 530 ft. to a corner of
the present City limits in the Northwest line of Morgan Smith Street.
THENCE Northeast 6361 ft. across the W. D. Fitch tract to a point in the
Southwest line of the F. A. Dobrovolny tract to a corner.

THENCE Northwest along the boundary of the Dobrovolny tract and the Fitch

line meets this boundary, to a corner.
THENCE Southwest along the present City limit line 615 ft. more or less
to the Place of Beginning.
Said area to be used for the following purposes: For any uses permitted
in "District No. 1, First Dwelling House District" as now stipulated and
contained in Ordinance No. 38.
It is hereby ordered that a public hearing shall be held in the City
Hall at 7:00 P.M. February 26, 1962, on the question of zoning said territory.
Notice of said hearing shall be published in the official city
newspaper at least fifteen days prior to the date of said hearing.
PASSED AND APPROVED and ordered published this the 23rd day of
January, A. D. 1962.
