ORDINANCE NO. 267
AN ORDINANCE VACATING THE EASEMENT ADJOINING LOT ONE (1), BLOCK ONE (1),
OF HOLICKS RESTRICTED HOMESITES ADDITION, AN ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, SAID EASEMENT RUNNING ALONG THE NORTHWEST SIDE OF SAID
LOT AND QUITCLAIMING SAID EASEMENT TO P. L. FROST.
. BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas, that
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City Council of the
City of College Station that there is a five-foot easement for utilities
reserved from the developer to the City of College Station; and
WHEREAS, said utility easement has never been used and will not
be used in the future; and
WHEREAS, the present property owner is desirous of adding said
easement to his present lot, from which it was taken;
IT IS 'i'tiiREFORE ORDERED AND ORDAINED that such easement be vacated,
and that the Mayor and the City Secretary be authorized to execute, on
behalf of the City of College Station, to P. L. Frost, his heirs and
assigns, any right or claim which the City has in and to said easement.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 26th day of May, 1958.
