AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 38 RELATING TO ZONING PASSED AND
APPROVED ON JANUARY 22, 1940 BY CHANGING THE HEIGHT REGULATION OF
SECTION NO. 8, DISTRICT NO. 4, FIRST BUSINESS DISTRICT.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station,
Texas:
WHEREAS, the City Council has held a public hearing in the City Hall
at 7:00 P.M. , September 23, 1968 on the question of changing the height regulation
of Section No. 8, District No. 4, First Business District;
AND WHEREAS, the City Council has heard all parties pertaining thereto
and having the recommendation of the City Planning and Zoning Commission,
has determined the following:
To Amend Ordinance No. 38, relating to zoning passed and approved
on January 22, 1940 by changing the height regulation of Section No. 8, District
No. 4, First Business District, to read as follows:
Height: There shall be no height limits on buildings hereafter
erected or structurally altered,
AND it is so ordained that said change be effective immediately.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 23rd day of September 1968.
