AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 487 RELATING TO RATES, CHARGES AND FEES,
PASSED AND APPROVED OCTOBER 24, 1966, BY ADDING THERETO NEW SECTIONS PROVIDING
THAT THE RATES AND CHARGES IN SAID ORDINANCE SHALL BE APPLICABLE ONLY WHEN
PREMISES TO WHICH WATER SERVICES ARE FURNISHED ARE SITUATED WITHIN THE CORPO-
RATE LIMITS, PROVIDING THAT THE RATES, CHARGES AND FEES FOR WATER SERVICES
FURNISHED ON PREMISES SITUATED OUTSIDE THE CORPORATE LIMITS SHALL BE ONE AND
ONE-HALF (i) THE AMOUNT OF THOSE OTHERWISE PROVIDED IN SAID ORDINANCE, AND
PROVIDING THAT AMENDMENT SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE ON SEPTEMBER 1, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 487, relating to public utility rates, charges
and fees, passed and approved October 24, 1966 is hereby amended by the addition
of new sections to read as follows:
"Section VI. The rates, charges, and fees for services prescribed in
Section 1(A) shall be applicable only when such services are furnished for
premises that are situated within the corporate limits of the City.
"Section VII. The rates, charges and fees for water services that are
furnished for premises situated outside the corporate limits of the City shall be
one and one-half (lk) the amount of the rates as otherwise prescribed herein."
Section 2. The rates, charges and fees as provided herein shall become
effective as of September 1, 1968.
Passed and approved on this the 26th day of August, 1968.
