AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 38, RELATING TO ZONING PASSED AND
APPROVED ON JANUARY 22, 1940, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION THERETO TO BE
DESIGNATED AS SECTION 31 AND PROVIDING FOR AUTOMATIC ZONING OF ANNEXED
TERRITORY.
BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
1. Ordinance No. 38 relating to zoning passed and approved on January 22, 1940,
is hereby amended by the addition of a new section to be designated as Section No. 31 and
to read as follows:
2. Any and all lands which may be annexed to the area of the limits of the city
shall be automatically zoned as a use District No. 1, First Dwelling House District, until
otherwise specifically zoned by the Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council, and
shall remain so classified until such area is changed to another classification, as provided
by Zoning Ordinance No. 38 and by the laws of the State of Texas.
