The regularly scheduled meeting of the Parks Board, originally
set for June 13, 1978, has been cancelled due to the lack
of a sufficient number of agenda items. The next regularly
scheduled meeting l:Till be June 27, 1978, at 7:00 p.m. in City
Hall.
Attached please find a memo outlining the progress on Oaks
Park to date. If you have any questions or suggestions,
please feel free to call me.

SUBJECT: Progress Repo t - Oaks Park
The Oaks Park project is being rebid with the bid opening
set for June 23, 1978, at 2:00 p.m. in City ,-tall. The
shelter has been simplified and the bid package rearranged
into six separate packages as follows:
1) Pavilion & restrooms
Deck S bridge
Electric & plumbing
Footbridges
2) Tennis courts - grading, lighting, & fencing
Did on one, alternate bid for two courts
3) Conversation/picnic tables
4) raving - paths
Bid on jogging loop, alternate bid on connections
to street
5) Party areas
6) Landscaping, berm ,grading
Contractors may bid on one packae, or any combination thereof.
This arrangenent of the bid packaTes will provide the owner
more flexibility with the protect while at the same time helping
to insure more competitive bids.
