Brazos County's Civil
Defense program may gain
a valuable new network of
mobile weather watchers
as the result of a safety
meeting Tuesday (June 25)
with General Telephone
Company service person-
nel.
County Civil Defense
Director Jake Cangelose
made an hour-long presen-
tation on tornado safety
precautions and the impor-
tance of on -scene reports in
assisting radar observers
to make specific identifica-
tion of severe weather
conditions such as hail,
high winds and tornadoes.

bration at Tiger Field.
