WHEREAS, the City of College Station, Texas City Council met
on the 25th day of January, 1990 at its regular meeting;
WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council considered
the benefits and detriments of continuing in the Lone Star
Municipal Power Agency;
WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council decided
that continued membership is not in the best interest of its
citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of College Station City Council recognized
that it might at some future time be in the best interest of
the City of College Station citizens to re-enter the Lone
Star Municipal Power Agency but that at this time the City
of College Station, Texas should be removed from the Lone
Star Municipal Power Agency.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of College Station, that the City of College Station,
Texas is hereby removed from the Lone Star Municipal Power
Agency as of this date.
