A RESOLUTION SETTING A FEE FOR PERMITS TO OPERATE AS A
RESALE SHOP UNDER COLLEGE STATION CITY CODE OF ORDI-
NANCES CHAPTER 4, SECTION 14.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College
Station has added Section 14 to Chapter 4 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of College Station to provide
for regulation of businesses engaged in the business of
reselling goods that are not otherwise regulated by
law; and
WHEREAS, the ordinance, as amended, provides that
such business must obtain a permit to operate as a
reseller of goods; and
WHEREAS, the amended ordinance provides that a fee
for such permit shall be set by the City Council of the
City of College Station; and
WHEREAS, the City Council heard evidence that the
permit fee should be set at $25.00 for each permit and
each renewal;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the fee for
obtaining such permit for the operation of a business
engaged in the resale of goods, or for the renewal
thereof, is hereby set at $25.00 ($25.00), pursuant to
Section 14 of Chapter 4 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of College Station.
