WHEREAS, on the 15th day of September, 1992, the Reso-
lution Trust Company held an auction in Dallas;
WHEREAS, one of the tracts of land was a 5.17 acre
tract located at the intersection of Dartmouth and
Holleman Drives;
WHEREAS, said tract is designated as a lake on the Wolf
Pen Creek Master plan;
WHEREAS, said tract is designated on the City's land
acquisition plan; and
WHEREAS, the staff participated in the auction and re-
ceived the 5.17 acres at a bid of $15,000;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of College Station, Texas, that the Mayor, City
Manager and City Attorney are authorized to close the
transaction, purchasing the 5.17 acre tract at the in-
tersection of Dartmouth and Holleman Drive for $15,000
and any associated closing costs that may be incurred.
