A RESOLUTION SETTING RATES FOR GARBAGE DISPOSAL IN THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Council of the City of College Station that:
There shall be monthly charges assessed and collected from each person, firm, or corporation within the
city limits the following monthly assessment charges for garbage disposal:
$130.00
$170.00
$240.00
Places of business that can best be serviced by
a large automated container.
Places of business that can best be serviced
by a 3 cubic yard, semi-automated container.
Places of business that can best be serviced
by a 6 cubic yard, semi-automated container.
The solid waste superintendent, or his representatives, shall be notified of any new service locations or
changes in service levels and will designate the container(s) to be utilized. The superintendent can
require changes in service levels at any location when the current service is inadequate and is causing a
health, sanitation, or litter pwblem.
Payments must be received at the city utility office on or before the due date to avoid late charges.
Payment received after the due date will be assessed a penalty equaling ten percent (10%) of the current
month's charges with a minimum charge of three dollars ($3.00).
These rates shall be effective on all invoices submitted by thc City of College Station to users on or after
May 1, 1994.
