RESOLUTION NO. 10-10-96-5-e
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, DECLARING SUPPORT FOR THE CITY'S PARTICIPATION
IN THE MUNICIPAL ELECTRIC SAFETY ACCREDITATION PROGRAM
(MESAP) AS ADMINISTERED BY THE ELECTRIC POWER TRAINING AND
SAFETY DIVISION OF THE TEXAS ENGINEERING EXTENSION SERVICE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station supports the purpose
of the MESAP program to instill safety awareness, increase and focus the desire
to operate safely, promote safe practices, and recognize other municipalities
who incorporate safety practices.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station supports the Public
Utility Department's goal to improve the employee's safety through heightened
awareness and improved techniques from participation in the MESAP Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of College Station,
Texas, that this governing body supports the participation of its' Public Utilities
Department in the MESAP program.
