09-26-96-6-f - Resolution - 09/26/1996( so[ution RESOLUTION NO. 9-26-96-6-f A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED CONVEYING THE CITY'S INTEREST IN A 1.64 ACRE TRACT IN THE CRAWFORD BURNETT SURVEY. WHEREAS, the City of College Station, has received a request to convey any interest the City may own in a 1.64 acre tract of land located in the Crawford Burnett Survey which is part of the abandoned 1&(3N Railroad right-of-way; and WHEREAS, the City of College Station has determined that are no utility lines, easements or structures of any kind 'in said 1.64 acre tract; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION: That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute on behalf of the City of College Station a Quit Claim Deed to CSL of Texas, Inc., for a 1.64 acre tract located in the Crawford Burnett Survey, more particularly described by metes and bounds in the attached Exhibit "A". II. That this resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption. PASSED and APPROVED this 26th day of September, 1996. APPROVED: LYNI~ MclLHAN'EY, Mayo~'~ ATTEST: CONNIE HOOKS, City Secretary CSL of Texas, Inc. 1.64 Acre Tract Being that portion of the 4.137 Acre Tract (Vol. 2005, Pg.2) lying north of Holleman Drive Crawford Burnett Survey, A-7 College Station, Brazos County, Texas Field notes of a 1.64 acre tract or parcel of land, lying and being situated in the Crawford Bumett Survey, Abstract No. 7, Brazos County, Texas, and being that portion of the 4.137 acre tract lying north of Holleman Drive (60 right-of- way), said 4.137 acre tract described in the deed without warranty from Resolution Trust Corporation, as Receiver for Bexar Savings Association to CSL of Texas, Inc., recorded in Volume 2005, Page 2, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the ~" iron rod found marking .the common corner between the beforementioned 4.137 acre tract and the 35.174 acre tract described in the deed from Resolution Trust Corporation to CSL of Texas, Inc., recorded in Volume 2005, Page 11, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, said iron rod being in the southeast line of Luther Street and in the northeast right-of-way line of the abandoned I. & G. N. 170' right-of-way (Volume 24, Page 336); THENCE S 19° 34' 33" E along the common line between the beforementioned 4.137 acre tract and the 35.174 acre tract, for a distance of 1303.94 feet to a ~" iron rod set in the proposed northwest right-of-way line of Holleman Drive (60' right-of-way) same being a curve concave to the southeast having a radius of 984.93 feet; THENCE Southwesterly along the proposed northwest right-of-way line of , .o,,~n-~o,, Drive, san-,6 bei~,g ~ curve, fo; ar, ale distance of 57.~5 fee[ to a ],~'= iron rod found marking an interior ell corner of the beforementioned 4.137 acre tract, same being the east corner of the 60' right-of-way dedication (Marion Pugh Drive) as shown on the revised plat Lot 1, Block 2, Woodway West, Phase I - 30.7358 Acres, according to the plat recorded in Volume 705, Page 619, of the Official Records of Brazos County, Texas, the chord bears S 54° 41' 38" W - 57.14 feet; THENCE N 19° 34' 33" W along the common line between the beforementioned 4.137 acre tract and the 60' right-of-way dedication (Marion Pugh Drive), same being 30' east of the centerline of the abandoned I. & G.
