RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR AMENDMENTS TO RESOLUTION 10-8-81-6
SETTING THE MAXIMUM FEES FOR WRECKER COMPANIES PERFORMING
NON-CONSENT OR ROTATION LIST TOWS OF VEHICLES WEIGHING 10,000
POUNDS G.V.W. OR LESS.
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of College Station on November 20, 1996
amended Ordinance No. 1814 establishing maximum fees wrecker companies may assess
for police initiated rotation tows and private property non-consent tows; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of College Station on November 20, 1996,
amended Resolution 10-8-81-6 after a public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College
Station that the following maximum fees are established for wrecker companies providing
police initiated/rotation list tows or private property non-consent tows of vehicles
weighing 10,000 pounds G.V.W. or less:
Police/Initiated Tows ................................... $85
Private Property/Non-Consent ..................... $60
Drop Fee ..................................................... $20
