RESOLUTION NO. 6 - 2 6- 9 7- 5 - a
A RESOLUTION OF TIlE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF COLLEGE
STATION, TEXAS, DECLARING SUPPORT FOR THE SUBMITTAL OF AN
APPLICATION TO THE 1997-98 U.S. DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE'S "LOCAL LAW
ENFORCEMENT BLOCK GRANT."
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas supports the
submission of the 1997-98 grant application; and,
WHEREAS, the City of College Station and it's citizens would benefit from the award of
the grant fund to improve law enforcement efforts to deter and apprehend criminals; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas will authorize the
expenditure of the City's portion of matching funds in accordance with the grant
regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the City Council of College Station, Texas, that;
The City of College Station authorizes the grant application to be submitted and funds
allocated as required
