RESOLUTION NO. 10-9-97-6-d
A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION
STATING THE DESIRE ON THE PART OF THE CITY TO BECOME ELIGIBLE TO
PARTICIPATE 1N TAX ABATEMENT.
the number seven Vision Statement, Employment/Prosperity, states that
citizens benefit from an environment that is conducive to providing diverse
employment opportunities.
WHEREAS, the city has used the ability to abate taxes in the past as an Economic
Development incentive and wishes to continue that practice.
WHEREAS, the city has established guidelines and criteria governing tax abatement.
NOW, THEREFORE, Be it resolved by the City Council of College Station, Texas that,
the City Council of College Station desires to become eligible to participate
in tax abatement.
