A RESOLUTION GRANTING THE BUILDING OFFICIAL AUTHORITY TO CHANGE
ADDRESSES ON FM 2818, WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF COLLEGE STATION, IN
CONJUNCTION WITH MEMORIAL DESIGNATION OF SAME.
WHEREAS, the current addressing scheme is confusing and unnecessarily redundant; and,
WHEREAS, the College Station City Council approved a resolution supporting the designation
of FM 2818 as "HARVEY MITCHELL PARKWAY"; and,
WHEREAS, working in conjunction with the City of Bryan, a new addressing would provide for
an ordered, logical method of identifying locations on FM 2818;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, that the Building Official work in conjunction with the City of
Bryan and Brazos County 911 to establish and assign a uniform and consistent addressing
scheme in conjunction with the memorial designation of FM 2818, College Station, Texas.
