A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF .THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORIZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR PRELIMINARY AND FINAL DESIGN OF GEORGE
BUSH EAST EXTENSION FROM HARVEY ROAD TO HOLLEMAN DRIVE, INCLUDING
A BRIDGE CROSSING WOLF PEN CREEK AND A WATER LINE CONNECTING
SYSTEMS ALONG HARVEY ROAD AND HOLLEMAN DRIVE
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, authorized the negotiation of
professional services contracts; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by McClure
Engineering, Inc.; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with MeClure Engineering,
Inc. for an amount not to exceed $85,000.00 for the preliminary and final design
of George Bush East Extension from Harvey Road to Holleman Drive, including
a bridge crossing Wolf Pen Creek and a water line connecting systems along
Harvey Road and Holleman Drive.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that McClure Engineering, Inc. is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for George Bush East Extension on the
basis of the demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from Certificates of
Obligation totaling $836,000.00.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
