A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR ROCK PRAIRIE ROAD
LANDFILL DEVELOPMENT AND CLOSURE PROJECTS.
WHEREAS, the Brazos Valley Solid Waste Management Agency Board of Directors,
Texas, authorized the negotiation of professional services contracts; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by CSC
Engineering and Environmental Services; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with CSC Engineering
for an amount not to exceed $457,419 for engineering, construction
quality assurance and consulting services for Development and Closure
projects at the Rock Prairie Road Landfill.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that CSC Engineering is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for Development and Closure
projects at the Rock Prairie Road Landfill on the basis of demonstrated
competence and qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted in the Fiscal Year
1999/2000 BVSWMA Landfill Operations Budget, $279,032 and Fiscal
Year 2000/2001 BVSWMA Landfill Operations Budget, $178,327
pending Council Approval of that Budget.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
