A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR HARVEY ROAD
STREETSCAPE ADDITIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a construction project on Harvey Road; and
WHEREAS, a construction contract for the Harvey Road Streetscape Project has been
signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Texcon for
$178,265.35 for the labor, materials, and equipment required to install electrical conduit
and pull boxes to bury the existing overhead electrical distribution feeder lines along
Harvey Road from Munson Avenue to Texas Avenue for the Harvey Road Stmetscape
Additions.
PART 2:

That the City Council hereby finds that Texcon is the lowest responsible
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Capital
Projects Fund, Electric Revenue Bonds.
PART 4:

That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
