A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND AUTHORiZING
THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR DESIGN OF NORTH FOREST PARKWAY
EXTENSION FROM NEAR SPRiNG CREEK DRIVE TO STATE HIGHWAY 6.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, authorized the negotiation of
professional services contracts; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by Ash &
Browne Engineering, Inc.; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Ash & Browne
Engineering, Inc. for an amount not to exceed $60,610.00 for the design of North
Forest Parkway Extension from near Spring Creek Drive to State Highway 6.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Ash & Browne Engineering, Inc. is the
most highly qualified provider of the design services for North Forest Parkway
Improvements on the basis of the demonstrated competence and qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted in the Streets portion of the
Capital Improvement Program Fund, project number ST9912, with a budget of
$500,000.00
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
