A RESOLUTION OF THE CTrY COUNCIL OF THE crrY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS,
APPROVING A CONSTRUCI~ON CONTRACT FOR THE COLLEGE STA't"~ON TEEN CENTER
AND AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDTI'URE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for construction
of a Teen Center; and
WHEREAS, a construction contract for the Teen Center has been signed and completed by the
Contractor; now, therefore,
BE Tr RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Marek Brothers Construction,
Incorporated, for $358,200 for the construction of the College Station Teen Center.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Marek Brothers Construction, Incorporated is
the lowest responsible bidder.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the General Fund - Fund
Balance - $358,200.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and aiter its passage.
ADOPTED this llth day of FEBRUARY , A.D., 1999.
