A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR LEMON TREE PARK
SANITARY SEWER LINE REPLACEMENT AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a construction project on the west edge of Lemon Tree Park; and
WHEREAS, a construction contract for the Lemon Tree Park - Sanitary Sewer Line
Replacement Project has been signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Young
Contractors for $135,979.00 for the labor, materials, and equipment required to replace
sanitary sewer lines in order to provide increased capacity to accommodate the Holleman
Sixplexes currently under construction and to replace an existing deteriorated sewer line.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby finds that Young Contractors is the lowest
responsible bidder.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Sewer
Revenue Bond Fund, Project No. SS9800.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
