A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR THE UPGRADE OF HIGH
SERVICE PUMPING FACILITIES AT DOWLING ROAD PUMP STATION AND
COMPREHENSIVE PLANNING FOR WATER PUMPING AND STORAGE
THROUGH 2015 PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, authorized the
negotiation of professional services contracts; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by
Camp, Dresser & McKee; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with Camp, Dresser &
McKee for an amount not to exceed $254,800, for engineering design and
construction management of the upgrade high service pumping facilities at
Dowling Road Pump Station, and comprehensive planning for water pumping
and storage through 2015 project~
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that Camp, Dresser & McKee is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for engineering design and construction
management of the upgrade high service pumping facilities at Dowling Road
Pump Station, and comprehensive planning for water pumping and storage
through 2015 project on the basis of demonstrated competence and
qualifications.
PART 3:
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Water Fund
Capital budget $254,8000
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its passage.
