A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT FOR TRAFFIC SIGNAL
INSTALLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS AND AUTHORIZING THE
EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, has received bids for
a construction project at the following intersections: 1) Texas Avenue & Lone Star
Pavilions Intersections; 2) Holleman Drive & Dartmouth Street; 3) Southwest Parkway &
Dartmouth Street; 4) George Bush Drive & Olsen Road; and 5) George Bush Drive &
Timber Drive/Bizzell StreeL
WHEREAS, a construction contract for Traffic Signal Installation & Modifications has
been signed and completed by the Contractor; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas:
PART 1:
That the City Council hereby approves the contract with TLS Traffic
Control for $368,216.00 for the labor, materials, and equipment including
City furnished materials required to install traffic signals and
modifications at the above mentioned intersections.
PART 2:
That the City Council hereby finds that TLS Traffic Control is the lowest
responsible bidder.
PART 3'
That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Public
Utilities, Electrical Fund, multiple Projects.
PART 4:
That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage°
