A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION,
TEXAS, APPROVING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT AND
AUTHORIZING THE EXPENDITURE OF FUNDS FOR DESIGN OF EASTGATE
RESIDENTIAL UTILITY REHABILITATION IMPROVEMENTS, PHASE 2.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of College Station, Texas, authorized the
negotiation of professional services contracts; and,
WHEREAS, a contract for professional services has been signed and completed by
McClure Engineering;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of College
Station, Texas:
PART l: That the City Council hereby approves the contract with McClure
Engineering for an amount not to exceed $91,000 for the design of water
distribution and wastewater collection system improvements within the
Eastgate area.
PART 2: That the City Council hereby finds that McClure Engineering is the most
highly qualified provider of the services for the Eastgate Phase 2
improvements on the basis of demonstrated competence, qualifications,
and continuation of the existing overall project.
PART 3: That the funding for this project shall be as budgeted from the Public
Utility Department's water and wastewater budgets totaling $1,087,000.
PART 4: That this resolution shall take effect immediately from and after its
passage.
