HomeMy WebLinkAbout1987V980P604 : 389246 CERTIFICATE OF ASSESSMENT By ordinances of the City Council of the City of College Station on May 10 , 1984, and June 14, 1984, it was determined that the construc- tion of portions of Holleman Drive and Dartmouth Street was neces- sary, and on May 14, 1987, it was determined after public hearing that all or part of the costs of such construction be levied and assessed and made a lien on the property abutting thereon; the areas of Dartmouth Street and Holleman Drive which were constructed and need to be assessed being as follows, to-wit: That tract described as a certain 4. 51 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46 , College Station, Brazos County, Texas, and being a portion of that same 32 .28 acre tract conveyed to Sypcon Construction Corporation by Metro Properties Inc. by deed recorded in Volume 435, Page 692 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds in Exhibit "A" attached hereto, located on Dartmouth Street from Woodstock Subdivision to Brentwood, connecting Dart- mouth Street, and that portion of Holleman Street from Texas Avenue to the East Bypass Feeder Road (West) , all as shown on the diagram attached hereto as Exhibit "B". At this time the City of College Station, Texas gives notice of the assessment against the owners of the property abutting the above- described area and against such property for not more than ninety percent (90%) of the cost of grading and stabilizing the street bed material and one hundred percent ( 100%) of the cost of the construc- tion of the curbs, gutters, and sidewalks, in and on the above- described area. This assessment made against the property has been set in the amount of $16, 138. 08 as per the engineer' s roll attached hereto as Exhibit DATED this 54 day of _illial___________, 1987.
