By ordinance of the City Council of the City of College Station on
May 10 , 1984, it was determined that the construction of a portion of
Dartmouth Street was necessary, and on May 14 , 1987 , it was deter-
mined after public hearing that all or part of the costs of such
construction be levied and assessed and made a lien on the property
abutting thereon; the area of Dartmouth Street which was constructed
and needs to be assessed being as follows, to-wit:
That tract described as a certain 1 .05 acre tract or par-
cel of land lying and being situated in the Morgan Rector
League, Abstract No. 46, College Station, Brazos County,
Texas, and being a portion of that same 25. 11 acre tract
conveyed to L. J. Kirkpatrick, and wife, Lois Kirkpatrick
by Lydia Frances Boriskie by deed recorded in Volume 290 ,
Page 362 of the Deed Records of Brazos County, Texas, and
being more particularly described by metes and bounds in
Exhibit "A" attached hereto, located on Dartmouth Street
from Woodstock Subdivision to Brentwood, connecting Dart-
mouth Street, all as shown on the diagram attached hereto
as Exhibit "B".
At this time the City of College Station, Texas
assessment against the owners of the givesinoticetof the
above-
described area and against such Property abutting the percent ( 90%) of the cost of property for not more than ninety
prcentand oneohundredcograding and stabilizing the street bed
materiale of the conpercent ( 100%) of the cost of the construc-
tion and sidewalks, in and on the above-
describedtioarea.u
This assessment made against the property has been set in the amount
of $108,943. 85 as per the engineer' s roll attached hereto as Exhibit

Field notes of a 1.05 acre tract or parcel of land lying and being
situated in the Morgan Rector League, Abstract No. 46, College Station,
Brazos County, Texas, and being a portion of that same 25.11 acre tract
conveyed to L.J. Kirkpatrick and wife, Lois Kirkpatrick by Lydia Frances
Boriskie by deed recorded in Volume 290, Page 362 of the Deed Records of
Brazos County, Texas, and being more particularly described by metes and
bounds as follows:
COMMENCING at the east corner of the KFO Addition, Phase Three, as
shown by plat recorded in Volume 481, page 65 of the Deed Records of Brazos
County, Texas;
THENCE N 45° 21' 45" E for a distance of 228.23 feet to the PLACE OF
BEGINNING , a 1/2" iron rod set for corner;
THENCE N 45° 21 ' 45" E for a distance of 91.91 feet to a 1/2" iron rod
set for corner;
THENCE S 15° 08' 54" E for a distance of 302.78 feet to a 1/2" iron rod
set for beginning of a curve to the left;
