§ KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF BRAZOS §
That LA. QUINTA MOTOR INNS, INC. , a Texas corporation with
principal offices at 10010 San Pedro Avenue, San Antonio, Texas of the
County of Bexar, State of Texas, for and consideration of the sum of
TEN AND NO/100 ($10. 00) DOLLARS cash in hand paid by the CITY OF
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, a home rule municipal corporation in Brazos
County, Texas, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, have
GRANTED, SOLD and CONVEYED, and by these presents do GRANT, SELL AND
CONVEY unto the CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, certain rights and
interests in the nature of a general underground electrical utility
EASEMENT on and through all and every part of the following, described
tract of land:
The ten (10) foot strip of land across Lot "B" of a vacating and
Resubdivision of Lot 31 and a portion of Lot 31 and a Portion of
Lot 26, D.A. Smith Subdivision, Richard Carter League Abstract
No. 8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas more fully described
on Exhibit "A" as shown on Exhibit "B"
said EASEMENT to be used for the purpose of installing, removing,
maintaining, servicing, and replacing underground electrical lines and
related equipment.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the rights and interests hereinbefore
described unto the said CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS and its
successors and assigns forever, and it does hereby bind LA
MOTOR INNS, INC. its successors and assigns, to warrant and forever
defend, all and singular these rights and interests unto th QUINTA
OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS, and its successors and e saad CITY
every perons whomsoever lawfully claiming, assigns,, ., againr
any part thereof. or to claim the :sam�;. or

Field notes of an electrical easement across Lot "B" of a Vacating and Resubdivision
of Lot 31 and a portion of Lot 26, D. A. Smith Subdivision, Richard Carter League-Abstract
No. 8, College Station, Brazos County, Texas. Said Vacating and Resubdivision of the
aforementioned D. A. Smith Subdivision being recorded in Volume 529, Page 13 of the Deed
Records of Brazos County, Texas.
Said electrical easement being more particularly described as follows:
Being a strip of land 10(ten) feet wide and lying 5(five) feet on each side of the
following described center line:
COMMENCING at the south corner of Lot "B" of the aforementioned Vacating and Resub-
division of Lot 31 and a portion of Lot 26, D. A. Smith Subdivision
THENCE N 42° 21' 12" E along the Southeast bounding line of Lot "B" of the afore-
mentioned Vacating and Resubdivision of Lot 31 and a portion of Lot 26, D. A. Smith
Subdivision for a distance of 15.00 feet to the PLACE OF BEGINNING;
THENCE N 08° 49' 16" p for a distance of 53.82 fee to the en. of ..aid easement.
