Know all men by these presents, that I, C. A. Bertrand
of the County of Brazos , State of Texas , for and in consid-
eration of the sum of one ($1.00) dollar to me cash in hand paid by the City of
College Station, Texas, a municipal corporation in Brazos County, Texas, duly
incorporated under the general laws of the State of Texas, the receipt of which is
hereby acknowledged, have granted, sold and conveyed, and by these presents
to grant, sell and convey unto the said City of College Station, Texas, certain
rights and Interests in the form of an EASEMENT on and through the,following
described property. 1
This instrument grants the City a ten foot (10' ) wide easement
the center of which is described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the northeast property line, said point
being located N450E approximately 12 feet from the most westerly corner
of this tract of land, the same being the corner between the properties
of C. A. Bertrand and Frank N. Smith.
Thence S68°E approximately 343 feet to an angle point in existing
single phase pole line.
Thence continuing approximately S45°E approximately 480 feet to the
point of exit in the southeast property line, said point being located
approximately S45°W approximately 5 feet from the intersection of C. A.
Bertrand property and the corner of the Dobrovolney and Joe Cemino
properties, as per attached description.Voi. 154, Page 382 Brazos County, Tex.
To have and to hold the rights and interests herein before described unto the
said City of College Station, Texas, and its successors and assigns forever and
I do hereby bind myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, to warrant and
forever defend, all and singular these rights and Interests unto the said City of
College Station, Texas, and its successors and assigns, against every person
whomsoever lawfully claiming, or to claim the same, or any part thereof.
