KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
COUNTY OF BRAZOS
1 . The Board of Regents of The Texas ASM University
System, hereinafter called the Board, acting herein by and
through the Chancellor of the System, pursuant to the authori-
ty of Texas Education Code Section 85 . 26 , the Chancellor being
authorized further by Minute Order 223- 77 , a certified copy
of which is attached as Exhibit A, in consideration of mutual
benefits to be derived by the respective parties , and subject
to existing easements of record and conditions recited herein,
hereby grants to the City of College Station, Texas , a power
line easement so that the City may provide electric service
to the North Gate area of the City.
2 . The easement granted herein includes an easement
extending at normal ground level two and one-half (2 . 5) feet
on either side of a centerline, the said centerline being
described as follows :
BEGINNING at a point, said point being 2 . 5 feet
northwest of the northwesterly right-of-way line
of F.M. 60 , said point also lying in the most
westerly property line of Lot 1 , Block 1 of the
J. Gorzycki Subdivision, an addition to the City
of College Station;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction 2 . 5 feet from
and parallel to the northwest right-of-way line of
F .M. 60 an approximate distance of 1340 . 0 feet to
a point, said point lying S 450 15 ' - 20 . 0 feet
from the centerline on Avenue A;

THENCE in a northwesterly direction 10 . 0 feet
from and parallel to the southwest right-of-way
line of Avenue A an approximate distance of
487 . 5 feet to a point , said point lying approxi-
mately S 45° E an approximate distance of 46 . 0
feet from the centerline of the connecting street
between Avenue A and Ball Street;
THENCE in a southwesterly direction, 46 . 0 feet
south of and parallel to the westerly extension
of the centerline of the connecting street be-
tween Avenue A and Ball Street, an approximate
distance of 581 . 5 feet to an angle point ;
THENCE in a northwesterly direction, 2 . 5 feet
east of and parallel to the northeast right-of-
way line of State Highway 308 an approximate
distance of 685 feet to a point , said point ly-
ing approximately N 45° W an approximate distance
of 45 feet from the easterly extension of the
centerline of Cross Street , said point also being
the end of this easement .
The easement extending on either side of the above described
centerline is an easement five (5 . 0) feet in width at normal
ground level extending upward to a plane twenty (20) feet
above the ground, and from said plane and upward the easement
is forty (40) feet in width with the same centerline as at
ground level .
3. The easement herein granted is restricted to
the construction by the City of College Station, Texas , of
a single power line . The construction of a future power line
or lines will require approval of the University. It is
provided, also, that should the power line constructed on
the easement granted be in the way of any future construction
proposed of sponsored by Texas ASM University it will be

removed without cost to the University.
4 . The City of College Station is granted the right
of ingress and egress to and from said easement for the purpose
of constructing, erecting, maintaining, repairing , replacing
and rebuilding the said power line and such right is not granted
for any other purposes . The City agrees to occupy the land
only to the extent and for the length of time necessary when
constructing, erecting, maintaining, repairing, replacing and
rebuilding said power line .
5 . This easement is for a period of ten (10) years
beginning with the date hereof, unless the same be renewed,
extended, cancelled or changed by the Board of Regents of The
Texas AFM University System.r

223-77 AUTHORIZATION FOR A UTILITY EASEMENT
TO THE CITY OF COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
TEXAS AFM UNIVERSITY
On motion of Mr. Davies , seconded by Mr. Blocker
and adopted unanimously, the Chancellor of The Texas AFM Uni-
versity System is authorized to execute and deliver a utility
right-of-way easement and an aerial easement to the City of
College Station, Texas , in a form to be approved by the office
of General Counsel , the centerline descriptions of which shall
be as follows :
CENTERLINE DESCRIPTION OF A 5 . 0 ' WIDE UTILITY EASEMENT
AND
A 40 ' WIDE AERIAL EASEMENT
BEGINNING at a point , said point being 2 . 5
