Emergency City Council Meeting
May 3, 1978
4:30 P.M.
MEMBERS PRESENT:
Mayor Bravenec; Councilmen Ringer, Boughton, Halter,
Dozier; City Manager Bardell; Student Liaison DuBois
MEMBERS ABSENT:
Councilmen Adams, Hazen
VISITORS PRESENT:

Agenda Item No. 1 -- Closed session to consider land acquisition.
Mayor Bravenec called the Council into closed session for discussion of
land purchases.
Agenda Item No. 2 -- Open session.
The Council convened to open session.
Councilman Dozier moved to enter into the earnest money contract with
Thomas H. Kennerly, et.al, in terms expressed in the option and as modified
by the Council.
Modifications include: changing the closing date to a later date;
removing the lien on the property, or if present
owners wish to preserve the lien, the city receives
the right to prepay the note~ and
power of release if the city wishes to sell part
of the property at a later date.
Councilman Ringer seconded the motion.
The motion passed unanimously.
Agenda Item No. 3 -- Adjourn.
Mayor Bravenec declared the meeting adjourned.
