Hervey; Councilmen Fred Brison, Homer Adams and J. D. Lindsay; City Attorney James Dozier; City Manager Ran Boswell; and Administrative Secretary Nancy Reeves Councilmen Don Dale, R. D. Radeleff and C. A. Bonnen The meeting was called to order at 4:00 P.M. by Mayor J. B. Hervey and on motion by Councilman Brison, seconded by Councilman Lindsay, Ordinance No. 854, an ordinance realigning the voting precincts of the City of College Station, was unanimously passed and approved. Mayor Hervey stated that the City Council would need to have a special meeting in order to call the election in April. It was generally agreed by the Council that the City Manager should look into the possibility of using the voting machines in this election. Mayor Hervey requested that the matter of a City Hotel-Motel Tax be placed on the agenda for the next meeting. As there was no other business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned.
