SPECIAL CITY COUNCIL MEETING
October 20, 1972
3:30 P. M.
MEMBERS PRESENT: Mayor J. B. Hervey; Councilmen Don Dale, R. D. Radeleff,
J. D. Lindsay, F. R. Brison, and Homer Adams; City At-
torney James Dozier; City Manager Ran Boswell; and Admi-
nistrative Secretary Nancy Reeves
MEMBERS ABSENT: C. A. Bonnen
VISITORS PRESENT: See Guest Register
The meeting was called to order at 3:30 P. M. by Mayor J. B. Hervey.
Following a briefing by the City Attorney and City Manager on the context of Ordinance
No. 844, an ordinance prescribing the maximum earnings to be considered in calculating
deposits and contributions to be made by reason of current service of employees of this
City who are members of the Texas Municipal Retirement System, Councilman Dale
moved the adoption of this ordinance. The motion, seconded by Councilman Radeleff,
was unanimously passed.
On motion by Councilman Radeleff, seconded by Councilman Lindsay, Ordinance No.
845, an ordinance providing for participation in the supplemental benefits fund of the
Texas Municipal Retirement System by all departments of the city government which
now participates in the Texas Municipal Retirement System; and providing for payment
of the City's contributions on account of such participation, was unanimously passed
and approved.
There being no further business to discuss, Mayor Hervey declared the meeting
adjourned.
