CITY OF COLLEGE STATION
COLLEGE STATION, TEXAS
SEPTEMBER 4, 1968
Members Present: Mayor Anderson; Councilmen Robert Rhodes, O. M.
Holt, James H. Dozier, Bill J. Cooley, Dan R. Davis,
and T. R. Holleman; City Manager Ran Boswell.
Visitors Present: Codie Wells and J. D. Horalson.
The purpose of this meeting was to receive bids for the construction
of sludge drying beds at the sewage treatment plant.
A bid from Clyde Smith Contractors, Inc. , of Austin was opened
and read. The bid was in the amount of $34,438. 00.
By unanimous vote of the Council, the bid was rejected and the
engineer was directed to re -advertise and take bids in late January 1969.
